Waterfalls
This piece was born out of a quiet afternoon and a whole lot of Bob Ross. After watching hours of his calm, encouraging magic, I felt inspired to pick up the brush and let the landscape unfold naturally—just like he always said it would.
The snow-capped mountain in the distance sets the tone: peaceful, grounded, and a little mysterious. The sky’s soft pink glow hints at either sunrise or sunset (I’ll let you decide), while the evergreens stand tall like old friends. Down front, a gentle waterfall flows into a calm stream, surrounded by rocks and greenery that feel like they’ve been waiting for someone to notice them.
It’s a scene that’s meant to feel familiar, like a place you’ve visited in a dream or maybe just imagined while staring out the window. I wanted it to capture that quiet joy of painting—where every brushstroke feels like a small celebration. Bob Ross taught me that landscapes don’t have to be perfect, just honest. So this one’s for him, and for anyone who finds peace in the wild.
