This painting is about the pause after the thrill—the moment when the skis are planted, the mountain exhales, and the day’s stories begin.

I’ve always loved skiing, and have been so fortunate to do this with my best friends.  It's not just the rush of carving through fresh powder, but the laughter, the shared trails, and the quiet moments with friends at the base. That’s what Apres Ski celebrates: two pairs of skis, four poles, and the promise of connection after the run.

The snow is crisp, the peaks stretch into the distance, and the colors of the gear hint at personalities and memories. This piece is a tribute to winter’s rhythm—fast descents, slow conversations, and the joy of being out there together.
