Winter Nights

This painting brings me back to winters spent at our cabin—family game nights, snow-covered trees, and the glow of warm light spilling from the windows. It was a place of calm and wonder, where the cold outside only made the inside feel cozier.

I painted the cabin nestled on its own island, surrounded by still water and framed by moonlit mountains. The reflection in the lake, the tall pine nearby, and the soft clouds drifting across the sky all echo the peace I felt in those moments.
