The Green Mile

The Green Mile

$20.00 USD

This painting captures the closing chapter of one of golf’s most demanding finishes—the 18th hole at Quail Hollow, the final leg of the infamous Green Mile. It’s a hole that doesn’t just test your swing—it tests your nerve. And for me, it holds something even deeper.
I was lucky enough to caddy for one of my best friends here, walking this very fairway, feeling the tension and excitement firsthand. That experience shaped how I approached this piece—not just as an artist, but as someone who’s felt the heartbeat and beauty of this course up close.

The fairway curves gently to the left and climbs uphill toward the green, bordered by a quiet creek on one side and a line of trees on the other. In the distance, the clubhouse stands with its Southern charm, watching over the final approach. Sand bunkers guard the green, and the flagstick marks the finish with quiet authority.
It’s a scene that blends elegance with edge—lush, serene, but never soft. This painting is a tribute to the drama, precision, and grit of championship golf—and to the unforgettable memory of sharing that walk with a friend.
