Icicles

This painting brings back childhood memories of looking out my bedroom window, watching massive icicles glisten along the eave of our house. They’d catch the morning light and sparkle like glass sculptures, hanging heavy and still in the cold air.

I wanted to capture that same quiet magic here: the shimmer of ice in the foreground, the winding snowy path beyond, and the deep green trees lining the way. The sky shifts in cool blues, hinting at a crisp, clear day—just like those winter mornings I used to stare out at, lost in thought.

This piece is a little tribute to those frozen moments—simple, quiet, and full of wonder.
